Q:
My child doesn't know about decimal places yet. Is it possible to create a fact sheet with division problems that won't include decimal places?
A:
When choosing the problem type "Division", you may select how to present the answers when creating an answer sheet; this is done via the "Division Answers" field. Selecting "Normal" will automatically show each answer up to five decimal places. Selecting "Whole" guarantees that each division problem will result in a whole number. The third choice, "Two-decimal rounding" will generate all answers with a rounded two-decimal answer. Note: "Division Answers" only applies when generating "Division" or "Mixed" problem types.

Q:
How do I generate a "doubles facts" fact sheet (e.g. 6+6, 10+10)?
A:
Currently, this is not possible where both numerator and denominator are the same value. This is something that is being worked on and may be available at a later date.

Q:
How do I make sure my subtraction answers are not negative?
A:
Under "Options" there is a selection that says "No Negative Results for Subtraction". Check this option to enable that field.
|
Q:
When generating large multiplication problems, how do I allow extra space for solving the problems?
A:
Under "Options" there is a selection that says " Jumbo Space for Working Solution". Click this option and your fact sheet will have a large amount of extra space between each row of problems.

Q:
I want to create a fact sheet for multiplying by 7's?
A:
When inputing the minimum and/or maximum number values, you may enter a range for both the numerator and denominator. For example, if you would like fact sheet problems that always include a 7 as one number and any single-digit number as the other number, the ranges would be "7 to 7" and "0 to 9" respectfully.

Q:
What does re-shuffle actually do?
A:
It generates a new set of problems for your fact sheet. Each time you click this button, a new set of random problems are created for the next time you display a fact or answer sheet.
|
Q:
Is it possible to create a fact sheet that has 2 different types of problems (i.e. multiplication and division, subtraction and addition)?
A:
No. Only one problem type per fact sheet is possible at this time. It is possible to generate a set of all the different types of problems by selecting a Problem Type of "Mixed".
|
Q:
What is the maximum number of problems per fact sheet?
A:
The maximum number of rows is 25; the maximum number of problems per row is 25 as well. Note: 25 rows with 25 problems per row will generate a VERY large fact sheet! Most fact sheets consist somewhere around 5 rows with 5-6 problems per row.
|
Q:
Can I put a title on a fact sheet (e.g. Doubles Facts, Doubles Plus 1 Facts, etc.)?
A:
Yes. To automatically have a title on the top of your fact or answer sheet, simply enter your title text in the "Description" field.
|
Q:
Is it possible to change the font size of the fact sheet problems?
A:
Yes. See selections under "Font Size" ranging from " Very Small"to "Jumbo".
|
Q:
Is there a way when viewing a fact sheet to see the answer to a specific problem...without generating a separate answer sheet?
A:
When viewing your fact sheet, just place your mouse over the problem and wait for the answer to appear. This feature does not function on some Macintosh computers.
|
Q:
What type of problems will I get when "Mixed numbers" are selected?
A:
You will get all problem types (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and greater / less than).
